Mission on the Move is a non-profit organization providing resources to underserved and low-income communities. ​The resources we focus on delivering are food, educational materials, clothing, employment opportunities, etc.

Mission on the Move was created in the early 1990s and established as a nonprofit organization in 2001 by ​Reverend Cynthia Andrews. Its primary mission was outreach to low-income communities, providing food ​through a weekly food ministry, housing assistance, renovations through Project Move in Partnership with ​HUD and United Way, and many other programs and resources.

In the earlier years, Mission on the Move held a weekly prayer service that flourished into full-blown weekly ​church services. Reverend Cynthia added Assistant Pastor Annette Dugger to the pastoral staff, later ​elevating Assistant to Pastor and adding Bishop Eddie Andrews. Mission on the Move would become known ​for its annual events such as The Love Ball, Christian Prom, and Happy Birthday Jesus.

These events birthed partnerships with LensCrafters, Toys 4 Tots, Pearl Vision, Chik-fil-a, Big Lots, Kroger, ​Publix, Papa John’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Outback Steakhouse, Sonic’s, and a host of other businesses. ​Mission on the Move has continued to be an oasis of resources for the underprivileged and low-income ​families in communities of need for over 30 years.
